Sale Of Rc Church Assets Leads To Closure Of Corpus Christi Parish

Corpus Christi Parish in St. John’s will close its doors to parishioners for the last time this weekend. The church, on Waterford Bridge Road near Bowring Park, is closing after being sold as part of the Roman Catholic Church’s efforts to sell its assets to settle sexual abuse claims by victims of Mount Cashel Orphanage.
