A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Horizon Drive in West Kelowna Friday night. In a press release, Kelowna RCMP Const. Mike Della-Paolera says the crash happened on Horizon Drive around 5:40 p.m. Investigations by the BC Coroner Service and the RCMP are still ongoing. “Alcohol and speed have not been ruled out as contributing factors to the crash and the incident remains under investigation,” says Const. Della-Paolera. The crash, which left a silver vehicle upside down in a ditch, closed Horizon Drive between Aurora Heights and Olympus Way for several hours while officers examined the scene. Police are now asking anyone with information about the crash or dash cam video from the area to call West Kelowna RCMP at 250-768-2880 and reference file 2022-52348.
