A single vehicle motorcycle accident has closed Horizon Drive in West Kelowna. Castanet began receiving news around 6:00 p.m. saying a man riding a motorcycle at high speed lost control and crashed, possibly hitting a tree and down an embankment on the hillside. According to a bystander near the crash, EMS was on scene and working hard to get the man to safety. A witness told Castanet that the motorcycle was traveling at a speed that was unsafe for the driver and other people on the road. It is currently unclear whether the man survived the accident.
