It happened around 9:41 pm in the 200 block of Collom Street in the city’s Germantown section. Police say the bullet was fired from somewhere outside the home. The boy was hit in the leg. He was rushed to a local hospital where he remains in stable condition. Investigators say there are four bullet holes in the home. The boy’s mother was the only other person home at the time. He wasn’t hurt. Police arrested a 17-year-old with a loaded gun at the scene, but investigators do not believe he was the shooter. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 215-686-TIPS.
