The image, which was likely taken from Bungie’s website, features a set of Titan armor that looks a lot like the Dark Knight skin that was originally available from Fortnite’s Season 2 season pass. Destiny’s Warlock also appears with a Fortnite Mask-like Drift, and the Hunter looks a lot like Fortnite’s Omega skin. It’s unclear how Destiny 2 players will be able to obtain these Fortnite skins or when they will be part of the game. Fortnite skins are more than likely to be universal skins in Destiny 2 so players can apply them to any armor set and customize characters. Rumors also state that Fortnite could also get its own Destiny skins, and there are many characters that Bungie could potentially place in the world of Fortnite. This isn’t the first time Bungie has added crossover content to Destiny 2. Bungie celebrated its 30th anniversary with a special content drop that included Halo-style weapons in Destiny 2. The 30th Anniversary Pack for Destiny 2, released in late last year, a Magnum-like sidearm is included, along with a Battle Rifle-like pulse rifle in the looter shooter. This Fortnite crossover leak comes just days before Bungie prepares to reveal Destiny 2 Season 18 and the franchise’s next big expansion: Lightfall. Bungie has scheduled a Destiny 2 showcase for Tuesday, August 23rd at 9am. PT / 12 p.m. ET. It’s Destiny 2’s first big reveal since Sony bought Bungie for $3.7 billion earlier this year.
