Un accident impliquant une remorque qui nécessiterait donc l’utilisation d’une grue pour dégager le véhicule est à l’origine de cette fermeture. Elle devrait durer environ deux ou trois heures, selon un premier tweet posté par le ministre. Au moment de mettre sous presse, la congestion s’étendait encore sur plusieurs kilomètres en amont de la zone fermée....

A bushfire broke out just after 7pm on Sunday in the Glenmore Hills along Ballou Road and Moubray Road. A neighbor tells Castanet before smoke could be seen the Kelowna Fire Department was already on the scene. The fire appears to have started near the base of a tree. “It looked pretty small. I’d say about five feet by five feet,” said one Glenmore resident. The Kelowna Fire Department has extinguished the fire and remains on scene making sure hot spots are extinguished....

A small plane crashed in the water near Clarenville. RCMP say the aircraft went down shortly after noon today, somewhere between the city and Random Island. However, there are still no details on the fate of the passengers. VOCM will have more details as they become available.
